Al-Fatihah to one of the greatest Malay actors - Hani Mohsin.
…for the third time.
Kuantan takde air! It seems that my housemates and I are the only people in Kuantan who doesn’t know that there was to be an interruption in water supply starting last night. And it’s supposed to last until 11 pm tonight. Sheeeeesh…
I woke up quite early today (7 am is early for me). Turned on the tap, and the water started to trickle and then died away. I panicked. Actually, it was more of "Sh*t, I have class at 8!!!". I did not reserve any water at all, except for the bottles we have for drinking.
I thought of going to the office, but it was too early; and the office at that kind of hour seems too spooky for me hahaha…I called every friend who lives in the vicinity, and all of them are out of water (and suprisingly all have managed to shower!)
So I packed my clothes, towel, soap etc., dressed up in sports attire ( I can’t go to the office in my old, holey caftan, can I?) and drove to the office, praying that the students would somehow wake up late, lost their shoe, have diarrhea…anything that would make them late for class…
But noo……Murphy’s Law states that anything that can go wrong WILL go wrong. As I reached the lift, at least ten of the students came in, too. Not to mention a colleague whom I called early in the morning to ask whether he’s had his shower (yes, he has) and whether there’s still some water at his house (no, the tap is dry)…
So there I was, clutching my handbag, toiletries and towel bag, and my ironed office clothes, dressed in t-shirt, track bottoms and HIGH HEELS, with face possibly as red as if they were brushed with a MAC blusher. I thank God that I was not a serious, snobbish, ‘kontrol ayu‘ type, or else it would be a greater embarassment for me heehee…
But all’s well that ends well, the Bard says - I was only 10 minutes late to class; my clothes was not rumpled, considering the size of the ‘dressing room’; and I somehow manage to coordinate the colours of my attire better than the days on which I spent 1 hour dressing up. Yeah, people do perform better under pressure….Can’t wait to shower at the office again this afternoon….
I’m itching to write. I feel like I have so much to tell. But I don’t know where to start. So the next best thing is to list just the ‘important’ points:
Taa!
Adikku sudah pulang dari berholiday… Dia membawa pulang sekeping
poskad gambar Roberto Carlos (tapi bukanla poskad tu je yang dia bawak,
benda-benda lain pun ada jugak). Di dada Roberto Carlos tertulis
kata-kata ini:
To Marina,
Salam Sejahtera
Art Fazil
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!
And to add insult to injury (even though it’s neither an insult nor
injury, but still…), she (and her friends, too) sat with Art Fazil for an hour, borakking
and having coffee!
Takpe, aku nak sambung belajar kat London lah. Pastu pegi cari Art Fazil lah. Pastu kalau jumpa dia, akan ku katakan padanya
Andai esok aku menjadi tanah, sudikah engkau menjadi bunga menghiasi dadaku?

…dan sekarang aku berada di KL. Seronoknya! Seronoknya boleh pegi KLCC hujung minggu ni! Seronoknya pegi Alamanda! Seronoknya pegi KLIA!
tapi takpe…
Datangnya aku ke KL membolehkan aku berjumpa jejaka idaman tiga hari berturut-turut (motif ayat Kertas Bahasa Melayu SPM?)
Seronoknya!
